Darren's 23rd Birthday This is my very first time blogging for N450! Haha, it kind of excites me in a way :) Today, was Darren 大人‘s 23rd Birthday. We actually wanted to celebrated it for him after service, but he couldn't make it for de-brief, but we had no choice but to celebrate it at Kopitiam located at Bras Basah Road. Darren, you should have seen your face when we started singing the Birthday song. It was classic! Pity we didn't capture in on camera, haha. Anyway, we all had to sing "God's blessing you now" very softly because we were in a public place, and we weren't able to pray for Darren. So fellow members, do pray for him tonight all right? We had many funny moments today during fellowship. The food turned out to be 'extremely delicious'. My Dumpling Noodle soup tasted like starch water. 'Delicious' I tell you. Oh, Celina, our new member, had 'plain' rice for chicken rice. Torance had 'mushroom cabbage soup' for his fish dish thingy. The lemon sauce for Celina's lemon chicken rice was 'so thick'. And Anna's rice had 'a lot of salt' in it (get the sarcasm guys). So, it was indeed a 'fantastic lunch'. Oh, we played Seven Up, which is partially called the 'Anti-Social Game'. So, who had to do the forfeit in the end? CELINA!!! We made her sing 'Ponyo Ponyo' outside Kopitiam. I have the video of it :) So if any of you want to watch it, you can just look for me! Oh, and I became a masseuse today. I helped Darren, Torance, Kenneth, Richard and Evonne massage their backs and necks. I can bet my arms will be aching tomorrow. But what's good is that they love massage. Next time you guys want me to massage, I'm gonna have to charge!! All in all, today was a very humurous day. I'm glad that God brought us together to enjoy a Sunday afternoon together :) |
